Be at Your Best in Times of Change: How to Support the Wellbeing of Your Team for Maximum Impact

Much has been written on the toll that the pandemic has taken on each of us. Record levels of stress, worry and burn out have been reported and new research shows that Managers now have lower mental health scores than employees, a reflection of how difficult these times have been.

The research by Gallup is also clear that managers and leaders play a critical role in the overall wellbeing of their teams and the prevention of burnout. In order to lead a team through the pandemic and beyond, leaders require the ability to navigate the balancing act of focusing on performance outcomes while supporting workers’ engagement and wellbeing. This comes with a set of skills and attitudes that may not have been synonymous with leadership…until now.

In this multi session program*, leaders are introduced to mindsets, attitudes and behaviours that support their personal wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of their team, while ensuring high performance results and outcomes.

Some of the key ‘take aways’ of this training are:

  • Identify key wellbeing pillars and why they matter more than ever
  • Learn the 4 R’s Model of resilience and wellbeing
  • Understand the fundamental human needs of all team members (including yourself)
  • Know how to build and support trust and respect in your team and why this is a critical foundation for innovation, collaboration and more
  • Learn why the brain craves clear communication and expectations
  • Understand why coaching is the most sought-after management skill today and identify how to support each team member through a coaching lens
  • Learn why gratitude, empathy and compassion are the superpowers for leaders in 2022 and beyond
