Supporting the Mental Health and Resilience of Your Team beyond the pandemic

This session provides an overview of the facts of mental illness vs. the myths that are often circulated. Leaders will become familiar with the signs and symptoms of the most common mental health concerns as well as understand the reality of burnout, now a designated mental health condition. The session will speak to understanding stigma and the impact that stigma has on accessing support. Most importantly, ideas on how managers can both mitigate stress and support employees, will all be explored through case studies, small group discussions and reflections.

Improving mental health and supporting well-being as a business strategy through education and strategic initiatives results in more engaged, healthy and happy people with an increased ability to not simply survive but thrive, even through disruption and the most challenging of times.
